Students in Germany can join the so-called "Krankenversicherung der Studenten" KVdS (health insurance for students). You can apply for membership before arriving in Germany. More information about the KVdS is available on our partner's website, HEK - Hanseatische Krankenkasse.
It is also advisable for you to additionally procure an accident and liability insurance.

If you are not able to join the KVdS and you are still under 35 years old at the day of your depature from Germany, you can effect an alternative insurance online here.
You are already or will be over 35 years old at the day of your depature from Germany, then you are able to contract an appropriate health insurance here.
